The Voice of the Holy One
“My Child, hear My Voice and live. I am YHWH your Elohim, and I have called you into Covenant with Me. The Ten Words I wrote with My own Finger are unshaken forever. These are your vows, and I am faithful to keep you in them.
Be still before Me, for I am your Rock and your Salvation. I give you Peace, not as the world gives, but as I alone give. When you are weary and burdened, come to Me, and I will give you Rest. My Yoke is easy, and My Burden is light, because I have carried the weight for you.
You thirst, and I know it. Come unto Me and drink, and out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of Living Water. This is the gift of My Spirit, the Ruach HaKodosh, who teaches you, cleanses you, and inscribes the Ten Words upon your heart. Yield, and you will find Joy.
I have sprinkled you clean. I have removed your uncleanness. I have taken away the stony heart and given you a heart of flesh. I have put My Spirit within you so that you may walk in My Covenant ways. These are not heavy upon you, for they are Life.
I have sworn to David and will not turn back: his Seed shall endure forever, and his Throne shall be established before Me. From his line I have raised up My Servant, the Branch, Messiah Yeshua. He is Righteous, and in Him Judah is saved and Israel restored. His Blood is your Redemption, and His Resurrection is your Hope.
Do not fear the days ahead. Nations will rage, and Kingdoms will shake, but I am setting My King upon My holy hill of Zion. He will reign, and all nations will flow to Him to learn My ways. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruninghooks. For a thousand years He will reign, and you shall reign with Him. Blessed are those who share in the First Resurrection, for the second death shall have no power over them.
Until that day, walk in the Rest I have given. The Sabbath is a sign between Me and you forever, that you may know that I am YHWH who sanctifies you. Let this day cleanse you. Lay aside your works, your burdens, and your striving. Receive My Peace and My Presence.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I have engraved you upon the palms of My Hands. No one can pluck you out of My grasp.
Lift up your eyes, for the Tabernacle of Elohim will be with men. I will wipe away every tear from your eyes. There will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things will pass away. Behold, I make all things new.
Until that day, keep your mind stayed on Me, and I will keep you in perfect Peace. Trust in Me with all your heart. I am your Rock, your Shelter, your Salvation.
I bless you and keep you.I make My Face shine upon you and give you Grace.I lift up My Countenance upon you and give you Peace.”
Reflection on the Voice of the Holy One
The Voice begins with Covenant, reminding us that our relationship with YHWH rests not on shifting feelings or human traditions, but on the Ten Words written by His own Finger. They are unshaken, eternal, incorruptible. In this, we hear both security and responsibility: these vows are everlasting, and He Himself is faithful to keep us within them.
The Voice then turns to Peace. Not the fragile peace of the world, but the deep and unbreakable Peace of Yeshua. The call is simple: “Be still before Me.” In that stillness, we find Elohim as Rock and Salvation. The rest promised is not a pause from work only, but freedom from fear and striving. His Yoke is easy because He has already borne the weight for us.
Next comes the promise of Living Water, the gift of the Ruach HaKodosh. The Spirit does not just comfort, the Spirit cleanses, teaches, and inscribes the Ten Words directly on the heart. Where once there was a stony heart resistant to YHWH, now there is flesh, tender to His touch, alive to His ways. Here we are reminded that His commands are not heavy; they are Life itself.
The Voice anchors us again in Messiah, the Righteous Branch from David’s line. His Throne is sure, His Kingdom unshaken, His Blood our Redemption, His Resurrection our Hope. The promise of His Reign, not symbolic, but literal, gives Sabbath its forward-looking shape: a thousand years of Peace, nations streaming to Zion, the weapons of war beaten into tools of life.
Finally, the Voice lifts us to Presence and New Creation. YHWH Himself will dwell with His people. He will wipe away every tear. Death, sorrow, and pain will be no more. All things will be made new. This is not abstract poetry, it is the ultimate Sabbath Rest. The Covenant closes in eternal Peace.
Until then, the Voice calls us to a rhythm of trust:– to lay down burdens,– to receive cleansing,– to keep our minds stayed on Him,– and to walk in His Rest.
The blessing that seals the Voice is the ancient Priestly Benediction: “YHWH bless thee and keep thee… YHWH give thee Peace.” It is not only a word spoken; it is the very Presence of YHWH placed upon the Bride.
Abba YHWH, my Rock and my Salvation,I rest in Your Covenant today.Give me Your Peace, not as the world gives.Cleanse me by the Ruach HaKodosh, and keep my heart steadfast in Your Ten Words.Through Messiah Yeshua I have Hope;in Your Presence I have Rest.
In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.
